Rome's Location and Geography
Rome's location and geography is absolutely amazing. It was characterized by relatively steep hills. Also, the Tiber Island itself is a hill. Other hills have come to be virtually dug out or eliminated as part of containers urban development. Some of the hills were actually made up of a couple hills each with their own name. Two names are Janiculum and Vatican.
These words represent the development of the Tiber Island. The Tiber Island is very amazing from its Urban development. There are ten famous hills in Rome's location: Quirinals, Oppius, Platine, Viminalis, Vatican, Aventine, Caelius, Velis, Janiculum, Capittonline, Testacco.

Roman Society
In the beginning was the census. Every five years, each male Roman citizen had to register in Rome for census. In this he had to declare his family, wife, children, slaves, and riches. Should he fail to do this, his possessions would be confiscated and he would be sold into slavery.
Below is a collage that I made. The picture with the women show what women in Roman society did. The image of the people farming show the agriculture in Roman society. The picture with the boys with books represent the education in Ancient Rome. Last but not least, the picture with the coin show the economy and currency of Rome.

The aristocracy (wealthy class) dominated the early Roman republic. In Roman society the aristocracy were know as patriarchs. The highest position are consuls or leaders. They ruled the Roman republic. Only high class people can rule the Roman republic.
